Like in previous editions, also this 6th edition of the Speech Motor Conference featured a prize for the best poster presentation. Keeping up tradition, the prize is meant as a sign of appreciation for new upcoming talent and therefore reserved for junior researchers only.
The jury had a difficult task in judging the large number of excellent presentations. After long deliberation, the jury came to a unanimous decision.
This edition's winner:
Christian Keller: Dorsal pathway transforms perception to action, not sensation to motor
Honourable mentions:
Fredrik Karlsson: Sources of missing data in VOT measurements of patients with Parkinson’s disease under deep brain stimulation in Subthalamic Nucleus and Caudal Zona Incerta
Joan Sussman: Intelligibility and Perceived Severity in Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease: A Comparison of Habitual, Clear, Loud, and Slow Speech
