Following a well-established Nijmegen tradition, the sixth edition of the International Conference on Speech Motor Control was held in 2011 in Groningen, the Netherlands. This conference, like the ones before, highlighted new trends and state-of-the-art approaches in theoretical and applied research in the area of normal and disordered speech motor control.
